and any of its products or services (collectively, “Website” or “Services”).
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Our website offers wine tastings (with food pairing as an extra service), olive oil tastings (with food pairing as an extra service), private chef services at the customer’s home, venue, or sailing boat, chef in nature, fine dining menus, a la carte menus, and cooking lessons in Rethymno, Chania, Heraklion, and Agios Nikolaos, Crete. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions, our privacy policy and our cookie policy.
We are committed to providing high-quality services to our customers. However, we are not responsible for any damages or injuries that may occur during our services. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to property or for any personal injury that may occur during our services.
Except as otherwise outlined in the Agreement, the use of the Site or its Content is prohibited:
• for any unlawful purpose;
• induce others to perform or participate in any illegal acts;
• to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, libel, defame, intimidate or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, race, age, national origin or disability;
• violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulation, rule, law or local ordinance;
• collect or monitor the personal information of others;
• for spam, crawl or scrape;
• for an obscene or immoral purpose;
• to infringe our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;

• to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or any related website, other websites or the Internet;
• or to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites or the Internet.
We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.
• assumes no responsibility for anything unforeseeable or unreasonable that may occur during the course of our offered services, as well as for their direct effects.
• assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items caused by unforeseen or unreasonable factors.
• is not responsible for any problems arising due to non-compliance with the staff of the respective experience.
• Inappropriate behavior by customers towards our staff and/or other persons will result in the end of the outcome of the experience and no compensation.
• takes no responsibility for things that customers did not read or understand from our TERMS AND CONDITIONS pages.
You agree to indemnify and hold Crete Chefs and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any liability, loss, damage or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising in connection with or arising out of any claim, action, dispute, or party claim brought against any of them as a result of or related to your Content, your use of the Site or the Services, or any willful misconduct on your part.
All rights and limitations contained in this Agreement may be exercised and shall be valid and binding only to the extent that they do not violate applicable law and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary not to render this Agreement illegal, void or unenforceable. If any provision or part of any provision of this agreement is held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the parties intend that the remaining provisions or parts hereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such other provisions shall or parts thereof shall remain in full force and effect.
You agree that use of our Site or Services is at your sole risk. You agree that this Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.
You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all of its terms and conditions. By using the Website or its Services you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the Site and its Services.
By booking on behalf of other participants, you are considered the designated contact person for each participant included in that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due to your experience booking, but also for notifying Crete Chefs if changes or cancellations are required.
Each customer is responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process. When a reservation is made through our website, the customer receives an email confirmation. This document must be kept as proof of purchase and presented in case of demand. Crete Chefs reserves the right to refuse service to any customer without proof of payment.
Users are advised to check the reservation details and notify Crete Chefs immediately of any errors.
Intellectual property rights
This Agreement does not transfer to you any Crete Chefs or third party intellectual property, and all rights, title, and interest in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with Crete Chefs. All trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our Site or Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of Crete Chefs or Crete Chefs’s licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our Site or Services may be trademarks of other third parties. Your use of our Website and Services grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Crete Chefs proprietary or third-party trademarks.
Changes and modifications to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website and your continued use of our services will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
